Evidence leaders detailed how Khan allegedly drafted official parliamentary questions targeting his own institutional rivals. These drafts were passed through Sayed to Malema. The evidence further indicates that Khan leaked highly classified state intelligence to his political associates. This intelligence included the personal home address of the VBS Mutual Bank liquidator who was actively pursuing corruption investigations against the EFF.

Further text logs from 2021 suggest efforts to influence multimillion-rand police fleet management tenders. Sayed forwarded Khan procurement documents from a company named Bertobrite, noting that the document came directly from Malema.

Malema has vehemently denied the allegations in a formal affidavit. He states that he has no personal knowledge of the chats between Khan and Sayed. He argues that as a member of parliament, it is his constitutional duty to receive information from whistleblowers to hold public officials accountable.
